gerne möchte ich Sie über meine Neuigkeiten und anstehende Veranstaltungen informieren.
NEWS
[ENG] I'm deeply grateful to the Scelsi Foundation in Rome for affording me the opportunity to work with their archives as part of the Michiko Hirayama Award which was granted to me last year. Between April 15th and 24th, I have been studying composer’s manuscripts, personal letters, live recordings of his improvisations, and interpretations of his major works by Michiko Hirayama as well as other interpreters. I will present some of the vocal works by the Maestro during a recital at the Scelsi Foundation in Rome on July 11, 2024.
In addition, I'm excited to announce the release of a new album by composer Daniel Alcheh, featuring my improvised vocals. Titled "Counter Balance," the album is now available on all major digital platforms. For more details please see below. Furthermore, I will also be travelling to the Ukraine this month to give masterclasses in contemporary vocal music to young students as part of the educational programme of Vere Music Fund and ZMM, and to give two concerts in Kyiv featuring the masterpiece “Pierrot Lunaire” by Arnold Schönberg at the National Philharmonic of Ukraine.

[ENG] Album Release of "Counter Balance" (2024) Produktionszentrum Tanz + Performance // Daniel Alcheh, Lior Lev & Viktoriia Vitrenko
To mark the 20th anniversary of the Produktionszentrum Tanz + Performance in 2021, choreographer Lior Lev, conductor & singer Viktoriia Vitrenko and composer Daniel Alcheh created the piece "Counter Balance". The production is a unique collaboration between members of the Produktionszentrum Tanz + Performance and artists from the Stuttgart independent music scene which premiered in October 2021 in the historic water reservoir in Stuttgart-Ost. This year, composer Daniel Alcheh released the music composed especially for the production featuring improvisations by Viktoriia Vitrenko on all digital platforms.
The venue was the historic drinking water reservoir in Stuttgart-Ost with its extensive underground catacombs, which used to be filled with water up to the high ceilings. Israeli choreographer Lior Lev gently incorporated the theme of water into the piece through his choreography and the quality of the dancers' movements, complemented by light projections.

[DE] Unsere Wege beginnen an verschiedenen Orten, doch finden sie ein gemeinsames Ziel. Oder vielleicht ist es kein Endpunkt, sondern vielmehr ein Zwischenstopp – ein Zufluchtsort, an dem wir uns alle auf Augenhöhe begegnen können. Denn bis hierher haben uns unsere Pfade geführt. Alles, was wir in der Vergangenheit getan haben, spiegelt sich in unserer Gegenwart wider. Und alles, was wir gegenwärtig tun, wird in der Zukunft spürbar sein. Ein fortwährendes Echo, das über Zeit, Raum, Kulturen und menschliche Leben hinweg hallt. Fremde, die nach Nähe suchen, begegnen Fremden, die sie geben. Doch manche bleiben in ihrer Fremdheit entfremdet. Verflochtene, ineinander verwobene und miteinander vernähte Leben. Anonym, doch seit jeher ein wohl vertrautes Gefühl.
Seit Februar 2022 sind ca. 151.000 Geflüchtete in der Region Baden-Württemberg angekommen, davon rund 32.000 in der Landeshauptstadt Stuttgart. Einige von ihnen werden nach dem Ende des Krieges wieder nach Hause gehen, andere haben diese Stadt bereits zu ihrer neuen Heimat gemacht. Der Stadtgarten war einst von großer Bedeutung für die Stuttgarter Bevölkerung, hat jedoch seit dem 2. Weltkrieg an Relevanz verloren. Was verbindet ihn mit den Menschen aus der Ukraine? – Eine Erinnerung an das vergangene Selbst.
"Echo dieser Tage" ist eine interaktive Installation, die Hörgeschichten der Autorin Kseniya Fuchs und Bilder von fünf ukrainischen Fotograf*innen in den öffentlichen Raum Stuttgarts bringt. Das Projekt verwebt reale Erlebnisse und fiktive Geschichten aus der Ukraine einfühlsam mit der Geschichte des Stuttgarter Stadtgartens und schafft Raum für gemeinsame Begegnungen, Austausch und Reflexion. Fünf Erzählungen, fünf Protagonist*innen, fünf Palmen, fünf Fotograf*innen – alle eingewoben in die DNA der Stadt und vereint an einem historischen Ort: dem Stadtgarten Stuttgart. Durch die künstlerische Aktivierung des Stadtgartens laden wir sowohl die lokale Gemeinschaft als auch ukrainische Geflüchtete sowie Geflüchtete anderer Nationalitäten herzlich ein, diesen Ort als Treffpunkt und Austauschort zu entdecken und aus einer neuen Perspektive zu erleben. In deutscher und ukrainischer Sprache.
